Lonesome

I originally titled this set of pics to be "Portraits of Loneliness". Although somebody commented on them as "just shots of people alone" & that they're not necessarily lonely. I thought otherwise.

Sad. Sometimes that's how we feel even with the company of other people. Loneliness isn't only about being alone; because you don't have to be alone to feel lonely. To me it's also a feeling of being left out, of being isolated, even in the middle of a huge crowd.

So then maybe it's just me. I don't know. But somehow I find loneliness in these images...
