My greatest compliment

After shooting a Filipiniana theme fashion show here some few weeks back I later chanced upon one of the models who was looking for her pictures taken at that event. As I did have some shots I offered to give her copies.

I didn't intend to charge her for anything, I thought those are just from my practice shoot anyway, and she was kind enough to ask. But she did hit me with an indirect compliment when she saw her pictures -- "Ako ba 'to??" were her words... like she couldn't believe how stunning she looked in those images.

A simple thanks could've done it. But that meant a lot more to me as a photographer. Being able to spot someone beautiful could be one thing -- but being able to capture someone's beauty is another.
